Course Studio

Your method, written down.

Tell Chief what you teach and who it's for. Chief drafts the course in Course Studio: each lesson's teaching, its homework, a workbook, a short quiz and the slides you'll present. A new course stays a draft until you publish it.

  • Workbook prompts, links and live-class details for every lesson
  • A slide deck for each lesson, with notes only you can see
  • Quizzes graded the way you choose: pass or fail, a percentage, or a letter
  • Change one lesson by hand, or ask Chief to rework it

The class page

People sign up on their own.

Every published class gets its own page on your website. It says when the class meets, how its lessons open, and what each week asks, before anyone signs up. A free class takes a name and an email, and the class link goes to that email. A paid class takes payment on the page through Stripe, and the buyer is enrolled the moment they pay.

  • One lesson a week together, one a week from the day they join, or every lesson open at once
  • Each week's live class, homework and discussion listed up front
  • No passwords: their class link opens the class on any phone or computer
  • You hear about every new student, and they join your client list

Between classes

Nothing slips between classes.

Homework is handed in from a phone. Every class and due date sits on the student's own calendar, and a reminder goes out a few hours before you meet. Missed a night? The recording is there once class ends.

  • Homework as a photo, a file, a voice note or a short video
  • Classmates never see a file, and a photo's location is taken off before it reaches you
  • The class on their phone's calendar, and when a night moves, it moves there too
  • An email reminder before each class, and a morning class is told the evening before

Live classes

Teach the room, near and far.

Start the class and people join from their class link, at home or at their desk, while the people in the room with you watch the slides on the TV. Chat and questions stay with the class. Answers to a question slide come only to you, until you put one on screen without a name.

  • The room opens 15 minutes before class
  • A hand goes up, and you invite them to speak
  • A student's message with a link waits for you first
  • Recorded from the moment you start, for anyone who needs to go back
  • Tonight's slides go to whoever missed it, when you ask

Most of the 12 are putting off a talk about workload, not about how someone is doing. A few named their own manager, not someone on their team.

Chief works the same way in every room. It works from your practice's own records, waits for your yes before it sends anything or touches money, and lists what it does on your History page.
