Invoices
Say “invoice Henderson for this month's ten advisory hours.” Chief fills in the price from your price list, numbers the invoice, and adds a pay link from your own Stripe account. Send it by email or by text. The moment your client pays, it's marked paid by itself.
Packages and retainers
Sell a 6-session package and Solutionist keeps the count. Each session marked done draws one down overnight, so nobody counts in their head. Retainers work the same way, in dollars or in hours, and every balance keeps the record of each draw, so you can always see why it says four.
Time
“Log 90 minutes on the Henderson matter, drafting the board summary.” Chief records it against the client, rounds up to the tenth of an hour the way time is billed, and works out the amount at your rate. When you're ready, draw it from their retainer or put it on an invoice.
Getting paid
Ask which invoices are overdue and who owes the most, and Chief answers from your real numbers. Ask it to chase one, and it drafts the note for you to read. When a client pays, you hear about it, and the payment is already in your books.
Chief works the same way in every room. It works from your practice's own records, waits for your yes before it sends anything or touches money, and lists what it does on your History page.
How Chief worksBilling shares one list of clients with every other part of your practice.
Plans
Invoices, pay links, packages, retainers and time are on every plan, with no platform fee. Stripe's own card fees apply. The bigger plans add the full books behind them.
