No. Chief drafts, suggests, and assists. It never sends without you approving (except for explicit actions you ask it to take, like "send this email" or "publish this post"). It's an instrument, not a replacement.

It's how Chief works. Chief is an AI, and it's built to solve problems, not just answer questions. When something's off (slow days, late payments, too few new clients), it looks in your real records for what's really behind it and suggests one fix. Once you agree, it keeps an eye on it: on the day it said, it checks your numbers and tells you straight whether it worked. It reports what happened without claiming credit it can't prove, and sending, booking, and charging still wait for your OK unless you've told Chief otherwise.

No. Connect what you want (Stripe for payments, Facebook for publishing, Resend for email). The rest stays. Solutionist is opinionated about workflow but not greedy, so you can keep Calendly or your existing email tool and Solutionist will work around it.

Connected social account tokens and other credentials are stored server-side only, and your browser never sees them. We use Supabase for data storage and Railway for hosting. Yes. Churches get their own edition, in church words: Members, Giving, Serving, Care. Members sign in to the church’s own member page with a code (no password) to watch live with chat, find sermons, read the Bible, join groups and give. Your team checks people in to services and children in to their rooms, with pickup codes. Group chats follow safety rules for teens, prayer requests go to a private care inbox, and giving runs through your church’s own Stripe account with year-end statements. Home puts the first-time guests nobody has called yet at the top, and Chief helps with the follow-up. The Solutionist plan adds staff seats when you need them.

It works. Turn on “Chief works between conversations” and a new booking, lead, or payment gets the bookkeeping you would have asked for within a minute or two: logged on the client, a task set, a note left, and for a new lead the first reply drafted. Every Thursday morning Chief drafts posts for your own social accounts from your own numbers, and puts them on your marketing desk in Grow → Marketing. How much it does depends on your plan:

Starter. Chief suggests one post a week for you to approve.

Professional. Chief plans your week: five posts with flyers, approve in one tap.

Solutionist. Chief runs your week: flyers and your own video clips, and the kinds of posts you trust can go out without asking.

Read each post, then change the words, the picture or the time, skip it, or approve it. A whole week can be approved in one tap.

No. Every post Chief writes waits on your desk as a draft until you approve it, and Chief never posts on its own. Change a post after you approved it and it waits for your OK again. The one thing you can hand over is a standing OK on the Solutionist plan: you choose the kinds of posts Chief may approve for you, each one still waits on your desk until its time, and you can take any of them back before it goes out, or turn the standing OK off.

In Grow → Marketing → Settings, switch off Chief’s Thursday work (“Plan my week every Thursday”, or “Suggest a post every Thursday” on Starter). Chief stops writing posts for you; you can still write your own, and ask Chief for one whenever you like. To hold posts you already approved, use Pause posting on the same screen.

Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X and YouTube, through your own accounts, connected once in Build → Social Media. Instagram needs a picture, and TikTok and YouTube take videos, so a post with a picture goes to the others. When your business has a site, every post carries a short link back to it, so the desk can show you what came through.
