The books
Connect the church's bank and the rows come in on their own. Gifts from the give page are already in the books, so the treasurer starts from a ledger, not a shoebox.
Month-end
One checklist for the month, in order, and each check says what's left. When all six are done, the month locks, so nobody changes October by accident.
Who sees what
Who gave what is walled off in the database itself: only the owner, an admin and the church's accountant can see it. Leaders do their work from the member app's Lead tab, which never shows giving.
Sorting
Chief goes through the bank rows, matches Stripe payouts to Sunday's giving and suggests a category for the rest. Nothing changes in the books until a person says yes.
Chief works the same way in every room. It works from your church's own records, waits for your yes before it sends anything or touches money, and lists what it does on your History page.
How Chief worksThe books share one list of people with every other part of your church.
Plans
Every church sees its own full ledger, on every plan. The bigger plans add the month-end close, Chief's sorting, and the work your accountant does at year-end.
